Radicle is recruiting six (6) mentors for its fellowship programme that takes 30 candidates through a five (5) week period to learn about the three (3) main Radicle R&D topics: decentralised identity, peer to peer storage, and open source funding solutions. This programme will inspire and encourage a wide range of ideas and initiatives developed and directed by the chosen fellows to help progress towards the realisation of our mission. Fellows will participate in regular workshops, networking, and a research project aligned with one of the verticals. For further details on the fellowship, you can find a deck here.

We are looking for individuals with domain expertise in any of these three topics, who also share in Radicle’s vision of a truly free and open internet, where work is owned by communities and contributors, to join us in shaping the future of web3 as a programme mentor.

The role of a mentor includes:

• Hosting 2 educational workshops (of approximately 2 hours each) on a topic of your expertise with ample time for Q&A
• Hosting 4 office hours with other mentors to support fellows
• Assigning research alongside the workshop to support their learning
• Providing 1/1 support where necessary
• Overseeing fellows’ research projects and providing feedback where necessary

Over the 5 week period, the fellowship is an approximate total 6 hour commitment. In exchange for your support, Radicle will provide a compensation of $2,000 (paid in RAD).
