Overview

Radicle Institute aims to support the OSS, Web3 and Radicle ecosystems through the creation of a learning hub and community centered around high quality educational content.

Goals

  1. Support the Open Source Software and Web3 ecosystems through various education initiatives
  2. Position Radicle as a leading publisher of high quality technical and engineering content
  3. Become a research and education hub for mission aligned projects
  4. Attract and onboard engineers, researchers, builders and users into Radicle’s ecosystem.

Performance measurement

Performance will be measured at the initiative level, with each initiative defining its own performance metrics in detail based on two high level categories:

  1. Engagement in our content and community — valuing quality of engagement over quantity
  2. Engineers, researchers, builders and users onboarded into Radicle’s ecosystem

Topic focus

At launch we will focus initiatives around four topic areas:

  1. Decentralised identity
  2. P2P
  3. Open Source funding
  4. Developer collaboration tools

As these topics are already central to Radicle’s work, we feel these are the areas that we are best positioned both to share knowledge about and to benefit from educating engineers on.
