This document focuses on the last part of the broad growth strategy. The goal is that the growth team drives partnership efforts increase awareness of the Drips protocol while the team is working on building a reliable solution.
Objectives:
- 10 partnerships by the end of 2022. We will start small and see whats the capacity of the team to support these partnerships and integrations. The goal is to go with big-names in the DAO tooling world.
What do we consider a Partnership?
1st Level - Social interoperability ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ → We will be doing some fo this to increase Awareness
- In this stage, its a relationship being built between Radicle and the other Mission Aligned Organizations. Targeted organization members might be invited to speak at Radicle events, twitter spaces, and/or there’s a mention in our or their social media. This is the relationship/rapport/trust building stage of a Public Goods to Public Goods partnership where we are trying to elevate each other by sharing with our communities and following.
ie.: blogpost, tweet - Now you can use Drips here, check this doc to learn how to do it.
It would require either a marketing or dev rel collaboration
2nd Level - Product/Technology interoperability ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ →We will continue working on this
- The product/technology interop stage is when the Organizations start to invest resources into seriously building between the products of each system.
- Sublevel A - We Integrate: We integrate using their SDK and our developers. This should only be done for projects with a strong community/user base like Gnosis.
- Sublevel B - They Integrate: Use our SDK with Radicle’s support. Or think of deeper level integrations that will require us or them to design a UI and there are more moving parts than just interacting with the protocol.
3rd Level - Governance Rights interoperability
- The Governance Rights interoperability stage is when the governance rights of each DAO is extended to the other DAO, likely via a Mutual Grant or Incubation.
- Example: Public Goods Alliance with GitCoin
Social Interoperability**, What types of things?**
- Co-Marketing push:
- Releasing an announcement of the partnership via medium or Mirror
- Highlight Partnership on our Newsletter (and theirs)
- Tweeting the article out via all social channels
- Retweeting it via key influencers within each team
- Cross-pollinating between communities, either by an AMA or a Metaverse Flashmob
- Contests to drive visibility (like minting your NFT, or win an NFT, or Meme Festival, etc)
- Mission Aligned Partnerships: Do co-marketing, podcasts, Open collaborations, or even helping bring key stakeholders to different situations - meetup - conference - hackathon?
- FOSS Community Benefit Partnerships: Something around creating a consortium of orgs that benefit FOSS projects in some way
Technology Interoperability - Sublevel B, What does it mean to integrate?
